Over the decades, she has become a global symbol of kawaii culture, beloved for her cheerful personality and timeless appeal. The 2026 design features Hello Kitty signing peace, surrounded by her friends Badtz‑Maru, Pompompurin, Cinnamoroll, My Melody, and Keroppi, set against a colourful pattern of dots and stars.

The inscription HELLO KITTY AND FRIENDS appears in alternating red and blue lettering, alongside the official ©2026 SANRIO licensing. With an exclusive mintage of 5,150, this release holds strong collectible importance for fans of Hello Kitty, Sanrio, and limited‑edition Australia Post numismatic covers.
